Start to Break

Well its about time to start break. Does that really mean that I am actually starting to have a break? Not really. My goal over Easter break is to try to complete my senior seminar project. That entails making sure that all of my paper is proofread and cut down to length. Right now it is 46 pages including 4 pgs of graphs, 4 bibliography pages, 4 pages of appendixes, 1 abstract page, and 1 title page. So that cuts it down a but, but nonetheless, still a lot of writing. I am also here helping with baseball. Tomorrow we are going to Sioux City for some jv games. We will be playing a community college and it is a varsity game for them, so since I do not play this year and I am just a coach, they needed certified umpires so my job tomorrow will be umpiring. Friday and Saturday we head to Nebraska to play games against Nebraska-Wesleyan and Doane. I can tell you the last month or so of school begin to get very antsy for people here. Everyone is excited for summer and everyone needs to get outside. Hopefully the weather is going to cooperate here the rest of the way out so people can begin to get outside and release some of the pent up energy they have. I can tell you being a senior and knowing that graduation is right around the corner is really making me want to move along faster to get done. I think it just happens to be how seniors are.
My plans for this summer are to work for the city where I live doing odds and ends and then also working as a full-time umpire each night. I make good money with that so it will help with getting established for grad school. As I mentioned before I will be going to grad school at UN-L. I just found out today that in mid-April I will be able to sign up for season tickets for football games as well as in the beginning of April registering for classes. While I am ready to graduate, I am also ready to get on to the next phase of my life, that being graduate school.
Anyways, I think it is time to call it a night, as it is getting late and I have a busy day tomorrow. I hope all is well where you are at. Feel free to hit me up if you need to ask any questions.
Until Next Time
